Trillian is a fully featured instant messenger that supports ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, and IRC. It supports audio chat, file transfers, group chats, chat rooms, direct connection (AIM), proxy support, encrypted messaging (AIM/ICQ), SMS support, and privacy settings besides several other features.

If you have been running different IM software till now, switch to Trillian and you’ll not only save on system resources but gain by having to use just one interface for all your IM chats.

Trillian is available in two versions – Basic (free) and Pro (costs only $25). It is available on Windows with alpha versions available for Mac OS X and iPhone.

Trillian supports skins and plugins. Several of them are available on the Trillian website.
