Norton User Account Control for Vista
The User Account Control (UAC) on Windows Vista is quite an irritating feature in my opinion. It was made with the noble intention of making Vista more secure, but in the process of doing so, it frustrates end users by popping up popup boxes when you don’t want it to.
Norton Labs has released an ‘update’ to UAC which is much more convenient to use.

Norton UAC replaces the Vista UAC with a version that allows you to ignore similar permission requests henceforth. It also provides you details about the application that resulted in the UAC action. Using this application should over a period of time reduce the number of annoying UAC popups.
Norton UAC is still a ‘pre-release’ software. Use at your own risk.
