Secure your passwords using KeePass

KeePass is one of the most popular password stores. I had covered another utility called Password Safe earlier.
You can use it to store all your passwords securely in an encrypted database. All you need to remember is the password you’ve assigned to KeePass.

KeePass is available on several platforms – Windows, Linux, Mac and several other mobile platforms like Symbian, PocketPC, etc.
Some of the features supported by KeePass includes:
- Strong Security
- Export/Import to/from various file formats (TXT, CSV, etc)
- Password Groups
- Multi-lingual UI
- Searching & Sorting
- Strong random number generator
- Plugin architecture which enables 3rd party users/vendors to extend the functionality of KeePass
If you are using a text file to store all your passwords, now is the time to switch over to a utility like KeePass.
Here are some related articles from across the Internet on KeePass: [1], and [2].
