IrfanView: A Fast and Free Image Viewer

IrfanView is a freeware image viewer for Windows. It takes very little disk space but is not short of features. It is fast, and supports a multitude of image formats.

Not just that, it has basic image editing features as well. I love its batch image conversion feature, which is quite useful for operations like “reduce image size by 50%”.

IrfanView supports plugins and there are a lot of plugins available from the developers themselves. Some of these plugins allow you to work with videos and create slideshows.
