Yet another new feature from Google Labs for Gmail. A couple of days ago we covered the new To-do List (Task List) feature of Gmail. Today, we are covering the free text messaging service.

Gmail Text Messaging is currently available for US phones only. Hopefully, they will extend this to other countries soon! Besides the regular Google Chat in Gmail, now you can add phone numbers and send text messages (SMS) to those numbers.
