Create canned responses with Gmail
Google Labs is rolling out interesting features on a consistent basis. A few weeks ago, they came up with Gmail Goggles and now its the turn for ‘Canned Responses‘.
If you find it difficult to manage the number of unread messages in your Gmail Inbox, this is a feature you will find very useful. You can create response templates and then use them to have quick responses send back.
Not just that, you can use email filters to respond back with canned responses. The ideal solution for lazy people 
Such features have been around in a crude form for a long time. For instance, ‘Vacation Notifications’ is nothing but a canned response. But, having the flexibility to have a number of predefined messages which gets triggered off based on keywords, is a welcome addition.
