CCleaner is a freeware Windows system optimization and cleanup tool. It removes unused files from your system – allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It contains a fully featured registry cleaner as well.

Such tools need to be run every now and then to ensure that your Windows setup runs smoothly. Infact, I just ran this tool on my system and it freed up over 0.5GB of unused files. Wow! Not only did I recover some disk space, but hopefully things will run better now.
