Automatic WordPress Database Backups

We all know the importance of taking regular backups. This is one feature that is not integrated into the WordPress blogging platform. There are plugins available that fill this gap though.
You can use plugins like WP-DB-Backup that can email the database backups over to an email address of your choice. Alternatively, you can have it stored on a particular folder on your server. A perfect plugin to ensure that you have backups of your all important WordPress database.
As far as WP-DB-Backup is concerned, its quite straightforward to you. Just Activate the plugin and select the tables that you want to schedule backups for. Select the frequency of backups and you’re all set to go!

There are several other plugins available with similar functionality.
With plugins like these, there is absolutely no need for you to rely on your host for daily backups! Send the backup to your Gmail account, which should hopefully have sufficient storage space still available for you.
